Questions 1–4​

  1. Marrowfield Vì sao: Trong đoạn hội thoại Dan nói rõ: “It's 52 Marrowfield Street.” Người phỏng vấn còn đánh vần: “Is that M-A double R-O-W-F-I-E-L-D?” — nên đáp án đúng là Marrowfield (một từ).

  2. relative Vì sao: Khi được hỏi “Did you look on the internet?” Dan trả lời: “I usually do that, but this time, well, I was talking to a relative the other day and he suggested it.” → Dan biết đến câu lạc bộ nhờ một người thân (relative), không phải từ Internet lần này.

  3. socialise / socialize Vì sao: Dan nói rõ mục đích thứ hai: “Well, I also like to socialise with other photographers.” → nên đáp là socialise (hoặc American spelling socialize) — 1 từ.

  4. full Vì sao: Người phỏng vấn đưa giá: “It's £30 a year for full membership or £20 a year if you're an associate.” Dan chọn: “I think I'll go for the full membership, then.” → loại membership là full (đã ghi kèm £30 trong đề).

Questions 5–10​

  1. 'Domestic Life' — Vì sao: Transcript: “Well, the theme was entitled 'Domestic Life'.” → đó là tên cuộc thi đầu tiên. Feedback: “That it was too 'busy' as a picture.” và “it was the composition of the picture that they criticised.” → nên phần Feedback: composition not good / too busy (bảng đã tóm là “The picture's composition was not good”).

  2. clouds — Vì sao: Về cuộc thi 'Beautiful Sunsets', Dan nói: “The instructions were to capture the clouds as well - it couldn't just be blue sky and a setting sun.” → yêu cầu phải có clouds trong khung hình.

  3. timing — Vì sao: Phản hồi cho bức ảnh hoàng hôn: “the feedback was that I should have waited a bit longer to get the shot.” / “So the timing wasn't right.” → lỗi là timing (chụp quá sớm).

  4. 'Animal Magic' — Vì sao: Dan: “And then the third competition I entered was called 'Animal Magic'.” → đó là tên cuộc thi thứ ba.

  5. movement (hoặc animal movement) — Vì sao: Về yêu cầu: “That's what we had to show - there had to be some movement in the scene.” → phải có chuyển động (động vật chuyển động) trong ảnh. (Đề cho phép tối đa 2 từ nên animal movement cũng được chấp nhận.)

  6. dark — Vì sao: Dan: “I got a great shot of a fox in the end, but I took it at night and, well, I suspected that it was a bit dark, which is what I was told.” → phản hồi: ảnh quá tối / dark.
